Interesting Developments

On January 10^th, the monarchy had their Chat with the people of Tal Dagore. During this Chat, the new system that Sir Rammork is implementing was discussed.

The 55 category system is great when it comes to qualifying for an office, but it just falls short for finding the quality that is expected for a Dragonmaster.  With that being said, this new DM system will help both judges and participants because Sir Rammork has designed a helpful guide for what to look for, an example is at the Tal Dagore forums.

Sir Rammork likes the SCA system and hopes that by adding a few things in that they use, our system will become better for it.

Also in that meeting, if you haven’t heard, Queen Ivey will be holding an Amt Swap at Dragonmaster/Weaponmaster. This is designed so that people that do not have the means to get certain things, like garb, will be able to get it second hand. The deal is if you donate you can get a bag of things for two dollars and if you can’t donate five dollars. Queen Ivey mentioned that they did this at Phoenix Tears a few years back with great success.

Another fact worth mentioning, in 2013 Amtgard will have a new rulebook. Right now the potential rules are up and can be viewed on the Tal Dagore forums under General Amtgard. Please post your ideas.
